In dialogue with Marsotto’s rationalist travertine and Formafantasma’s handcrafted mosaic, the lift cabins become a true graphic installation: fields of blue and yellow, vibrant geometries and chromatic depth that recall the experimental spirit of Italian laminate from the 1960s and 1970s. In this project, the use of laminate is unique: multiple colours of Print HPL are combined to create a real inlay, echoing the tradition of wooden marquetry.

Abet Laminati surfaces guarantee colour accuracy, resistance to wear and a compact, luminous tactility capable of interacting with the lighting designed by Flos and enhancing the perception of space.

Within this institutional context, laminate becomes a true narrative material, a technical skin that expresses the excellence of Italian design.
