For over 40 years, Alessandro Mendini has happily collaborated with Abet Laminati. Many important projects were born, which today we can still admire all over the world.

The important exhibition – ‘I am a dragon. The true story of Alessandro Mendini’ at the Milan Triennale – which today celebrates the Maestro’s work, brings back to everyone’s memory not only the most iconic projects and unpublished works, but also demonstrates his incredible fascination with surface decoration. As he himself wrote in 2003: “ABET plays a leading role in the contemporary world […] because the results of his latest technical achievements are directed towards an agility of intervention in matter, which makes it almost available to the decorative desire of everyone. And it is well known that combining the high print run with the customization of the unique piece is one of the great goals of design.”
