The satin metal redefines large volumes making them elegant and of great visual impact at the same time

“We delved into the imagination. We fantasized about the amazement of an astronaut who discovers a pizzeria on the Moon, lost in space…” This is how Velvet Studio introduces the originality of its interior project for the Wemà pizzeria in Cit Turin, the neighborhood in the historic center of Turin, and does so by choosing colors and finishes that can decisively follow the concept.

The Abet satin metal redefines large volumes making them elegant and of great visual impact at the same time: the bar counter and the kitchen become like very precious boxes covered in 874, the “gold” of the Metals Collection. A large glass porthole opens into the golden volume that overlooks the restaurant room, allowing a glimpse of the vitality of the work in the kitchen. The lively color palette that characterizes Wemà recalls the Italian nature of the national dish par excellence, pizza. Bold tones in red and green, while instead of an anonymous white surface, laminate with an unmistakable detail was chosen: the iconic square from the Design Collection, the Misura b-w designed by Superstudio in the 1970s. This is a sophisticated detail which, together with the ultra-contemporary furnishings, makes the interior design of this pizzeria unique in its kind.
