A new venue for culture.
In Soisy-sous-Montmorency, on the outskirts of Paris, the Le Trèfle Cultural Centre brings together a music and dance school, two auditoriums seating 600 and 300, a media library and spaces dedicated to community organisations. Designed by Wilmotte & Associés, the complex stands out for its fluid and organic architecture, conceived as a place for meeting, culture and sharing.
Inside, Abet Laminati’s Print HPL laminates in the Papier finish create a consistent material language, whilst at the same time giving each space its own distinct identity.
411 Bianco characterises the communal and circulation areas, 1942 Tuaregthe café, whilst 852 Big Bleu and 421 Nero clad the walls of the two auditoriums.
When a surface becomes acoustic.
In the Le Trèfle project, the role of the surface goes beyond aesthetics. Abet Laminati’s Print HPL has been micro-perforated with 1.1 mm diameter holes to create acoustic panels designed to control reverberation and improve acoustic quality.
This precision engineering makes the laminate an integral part of the acoustic solution, combining design and performance in a cultural space dedicated to music, performance and community.
