Abet Laminati’s appointments for fall 2024

Abet Laminati’s productions have always been intertwined with the world of art and design. Working together with the most visionary designers, we have been able to move forward the limit of production technique, applying the solutions found to everyday interior products.

In October these two souls of Abet Laminati will be represented by two international events:

EDIT Napoli

From October 11 to 13, Abet Laminati will be part of the three-day event dedicated to design and its protagonists with a tribute exhibition to the Neapolitan city.

ABET Laminates from Bra (CN) to Naples with “Abet è 1000 colori…” The company, founded in the late 1950s, will present its products in a new form on the terrace of Archivio di Stato di Napoli – Sede sussidiaria di Pizzofalcone.

Design curators Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni, interpreting the spirit of the company that promotes projects of free creative exploration on surfaces, have conceived for EDIT Napoli an evocative installation suspended between metaphor and illusion. The location, a terrace overlooking the Vesuvio, will be exceptionally open to the public during the three days of EDIT Napoli.

SICAM – International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry.

From October 15 to 18 at the exhibition space of the Pordenone Fair, Abet Laminati  will take part in the 15th edition of SICAM.

The International Exhibition will showcase new products and market trends for future collections of furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, contract and interior design.

Abet Laminati will be present in Hall 6 – Stand B18/C19 with two important new products for 2024: the new ‘Work in progress’ collection by designer Mario Scairato and the Velwood finish that marks a new tactile and aesthetic milestone for laminate.
The images, textures and graphic thoughts that characterize Work in progress are inspired by the many open construction sites that we can find in the contemporary city: the designer’s gaze goes beyond the everyday by finding a graphic and aesthetic ideal of strong pop appeal.
Developed by designers Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni, in collaboration with the Abet Research and Marketing Center, Velwood is the new finish able to create innovative scenarios associated with a revolutionary touch.
