Andrea Federici for Abet Laminati: when design meets material

The Rocks collection is enriched with Nival Linéa, a new decor celebrating the dialogue between Abet Laminati’s material research and Andrea Federici’s creative vision.

The Geo finish, inspired by the irregularities of nature, alternates rough and polished grooves, creating an interplay of depth that enhances the three-dimensionality and tactile identity of stone.
This original interpretation merges the company’s surface innovation expertise with the designer’s formal language, elevating stone into a new style icon for interior design.

Nival Linéa stems from a reflection on the role of stone in contemporary interior design: not merely a covering, but an element capable of defining space through continuity and rhythm. Its linear pattern interprets this concept in a refined, evolved manner: a subtle succession of light and deeper tones crosses the surface, with a warm color palette harmonizing its character.
What emerges is a material with an identity suspended between stone and wood: retaining the visual solidity and stratification of stone, while capturing the directionality, warmth, and natural tactile softness of wood.

The subtle, faintly tactile texture completes a surface that is discreet yet distinct. Its balanced nature makes it remarkably versatile for interior projects, making it suitable for diverse environments and applications across both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Used in small accents, it gains intensity and becomes a defining mark that adds character; on larger surface areas, its measured rhythm and subtle colors preserve visual balance.
