Environmental Product Declaration
The EPD, or Environmental Product Declaration, is the most authoritative and recognised document for sharing quantified environmental information, validated by a third party and made public. For us, it is a distinctive element in terms of transparency towards our customers regarding resource management.
The LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study is the main component of the EPD. It is the tool used to calculate the potential environmental impacts generated throughout the life cycle of products, which are then made public through the EPD.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building sustainability protocol is a voluntary international certification in the field of construction, verified by a third party. The LEED scheme provides project teams with a framework for designing, constructing and managing healthy, highly efficient and economical buildings.
The scheme focuses on the following aspects: water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality and resource management. Third-party verification makes LEED a valuable tool for transparent communication with customers.
Abet Laminati’s HPL (High Pressure decorative Laminate) decorative laminate, produced in Bra (CN, Italy), can contribute to obtaining credits in the LEED system thanks to its properties.
Indoor Advantage Gold Certification
Indoor Advantage Gold certification ensures that building material products promote
a healthy indoor environment by complying with stringent volatile organic compound (VOC) emission limits for indoor air quality (IAQ).
To obtain certification, products must be tested by independent laboratories in accordance with CDPH/EHLB Standard Method 01350 V1-2 for emissions of VOCs of concern.
Synesgy Certificate
Abet Laminati spa participated in the ESG assessment via the Synesgy platform.
The ESG score represents the assessment of a company’s compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles.
Synesgy’s methodology follows international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
