For the newly refurbished Loyen Desmedt dental surgery in Meeisek, Belgium, the designers used a range of light and neutral materials to enhance the brightness of the open space and to focus on a space which, by its very nature, needs to be a clean and sterile environment. To complement this use of stucco, resin, white cement and stainless steel, Abet Laminati was also chosen to balance the rest of the materials and to work in perfect harmony.
For the large cupboards and storage units, brushed 873 from the Metalli collection was chosen in its satinata finish, which gives an added slight three-dimensionality, further amplifying the luminous and reflective effect of the surrounding space.
