The historic walls of Cascina Cuccagna are the backdrop for Capitalism is over, a project by Raumplan and ACCC for 2017 Milan Design Week.
The spread of alternatives to the designer-company-consumer sequence is increasingly proving that such a classical form is not the standard anymore. The exhibition path offers an overview of the possibilities opened up by new technologies and by several epoch-making social and economic changes.
A décor of the Abet Laminati Fluo collection characterizes the big exhibition space made for a special photo show.
Also the project by Matteo Ghidoni and Jean-Benoît Vétillard “Le Banquet Gaulois” will be part of the event. Le Banquet Gaulois is a space where food and drinks become an infrastructure for hospitality, proposing a democratic feast, celebrating the communal value of eating together. Among the protagonists of the 2016 edition of Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk, Belgium, Le Banquet Gaulois is made of objects covered with Abet laminates realized with the digital printing technology.
