A project by Matteo Ghidoni and Jean-Benoît Vétillard, Le Banquet Gaulois it’s a space for celebration, for ceremony, for gathering. A space where food and drinks become an infrastructure for hospitality, proposing a democratic feast, celebrating the communal value of eating together.
Le Banquet Gaulois is made of objects made with a simple structure covered with Abet laminates realized with the digital printing technology.
The objects that define this space are constantly re-arranged according to the specific needs, and with the desire to produce an ever-changing variety of possible programs: from a cooking lesson to a public talk, from an acoustic performance to an opening dinner.
The press conference for the presentation of this edition of the Biennale will be held in October 14th at Le Banquet Gaulois space, confirming the idea of this project as not only a café, but also a place for launches, debates and events.
