Polaris for the Bocuse d’Or 2018, Torino (Italy)

Pauline Barendse and Jan Matthesius from Dubbelop selected Abet Laminati Polaris – Noir Pol décor –  to create a very special serving dish for the Bocuse d’Or, the prestigious international cooking contest.

Team NL used the unique, handmade serving dish, which is laid in with stainless steel elements, to present the food. Because of the black, matte surface of Polaris, all attention was drawn to the gastronomic masterpieces, prepared by chef Lars Drost, Ciel Bleu restaurant and commis Mike Klaassen.
