The installation Digital Nature designed by Karim Rashid for Abet Laminati and produced in collaboration with company De Rosso on the occasion of Venice Architecture Biannual, will take part in the next Architizer A+ Awards.
The installation was part of Venice Design 2016 organized by the European Cultural Centre.
Digital Nature is designed to be a fantastic, ocular space. It captures the essence of multisensorial living in our digital age. Karim Rashid covered one of the ancient rooms in Palazzo Michiel with Abet Laminati’s Digital Nature collection, thus creating an immersive space of great impact where visitors could lose themselves.
Architizer is the largest online architecture database. Founded by a group of architects in 2009, it provides a great connecting tool for architects, designers and producers. Every year Architizer A+ Awards celebrate the best international architecture and design projects. 300 international experts from fields such as design, architecture, fashion, art and industry judge and select the best projects in all categories that will be voted by them and the public online. The name of the winners is announced in April; they are awarded on the occasion of a dedicated Gala Event to take place in May.
