Ugo Nespolo chooses Abet laminates for his “Stories of today”

05 September 2017

The intervention of Ugo Nespolo in the complex of San Michele degli Scalzi in Pisa is realized through the composition of four large works: “Stories of Today”, the last invention of a master of contemporary art.

Nespolo appears to be a modern alchemist who seeks to restore order of reality. In the four works, many elements of our civilization appear: from mobile phones to musical instruments, from spaceships to the flag of Europe, from the pages of a book to the clouds. The whole scene is constructed by different elements that can magically re-construct into a unique mosaic that becomes life, emotion, movement.

We are invited to enter directly into the work, in this enchanted universe, active protagonists of this virtual reality.

The four works have been realized using Abet laminates produced with the digital printing technology.
