From 10 to 13 October, Abet Laminati will be at SICAM, the fair dedicated to components, semi-finished products and accessories for the furniture industry. This has become an important appointment for architects and decision-makers of the building sector from both Italy and abroad.
For this coming edition, Abet Laminati is launching new decors and will focus also on Polaris, but the great novelty that Abet Laminati is going to present in Pordenone is Lock: an innovative system that enables you to join Stratificato HPL panels easily without using screws or other fixing material. In this way it is possible to create pieces of furniture in laminate thanks to the Threespine® technology of the Swedish Välinge.
The furniture industry can therefore count on a resistant and compact material such as the Stratificato HPL available in the wide range of decors and finishes of Abet Laminati catalogue including digital printed decors allowing for a high degree of personalization. With only one click, the Lock system will allow you to create your own pieces of furniture that are strong and perfectly stable without using extra fixing tools.
The company is going to present in Pordenone different pieces of furniture made using the Lock technology proposed with decors chosen from the Colours collection as well as with those designed by Paola Navone for her Serigrafia 2008 collection. Last but not least, in the centenary of Ettore Sottsass’s birth, some of the pieces on show will bear the patterns he designed for Abet Laminati at the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s, such as Bacterio or Rete 2.
